Women's Metro League

Our Div 3 Women’s side enjoyed a cracking 2025 season, finishing an impressive fourth and cementing themselves as strong competitors in the league. Building on that momentum, the squad is determined to return even stronger this year with their sights firmly set on a Grand Final appearance.

Meanwhile, our Div 4 Women’s team are approaching the new season with renewed energy and focus. After a 2025 campaign impacted by injuries and limited numbers, the group is ready to reset and push hard to break into the top four in 2026.

History

KPR women's side were formed in the summer of 2006 and haven't ever looked back since day one.  The team was brought together as our club slowly grew and began getting interest by female players and have been competitive from outset.  The set up has attracted strong and experienced female players from around the Brisbane area and have risen through the league structures quickly over the years, in particular with back to back to back promotions in as many years. 

In 2020, the club expanded to fielding two women's team, and has done every season since.
