When registering to play for the Kangaroo Point Rovers Football Club, it is a commitment made for the entire season.
All payments are to be made prior to commencing play. No pay = No play.
The Club relies on volunteer efforts and player registrations fees to fund the Club's operations and following up player payments can involve unnecessary volunteer time to chase up payments.
Financial Hardship: We understand that at times there may be circumstances where some players are unable to to pay their full fees prior to commencing play and may offer assistance to those who need it. To be considered for a financial hardship request, you must:
■ discuss your individual circumstances with your Team Manager immediately
■ complete the Player Request Form for consideration by the Committee
■ outline your proposed payment plan (if necessary)
■ make a minimum payment of $200
Lodging a Player Request Form does not automatically grant approval as the request will be discussed confidentially with the Committee and players will be notified of the outcome.
All approved financial hardship requests are for a single season only.
Pro-Rata: Players who register after the commencement of the season who wish to request a reduction of their fees based on the games missed, may complete the Player Request Form for consideration by the Committee.
Refund: There may be circumstances where a player may be eligible for a refund:
■ No team available for player
■ Change of mind prior to participation in any activity (training, pre-season matches, season matches etc)
■ Serious season-ending injury
To request a refund, please discuss with your Team Manager and complete the Player Request Form for consideration by the Committee.
All requests made to the Committee will take into account whether the player:
■ Participated in any activity (training, pre-season matches, season matches etc)
■ Will be refunded any FFA, FQ or FB components from the governing bodies.
■ Incurred any club costs
